Paul L. White, CCIM, CPM, CSM, RPA, of Miami, Robert B. White, CCIM, of Fort Myers and the Central Florida CCIM District have been honored with endowed scholarships through CCIM Foundation. The endowed scholarship were created to recognize the industry leaders as well as the District for their ongoing contributions to the commercial real estate industry and their respective local CCIM Districts, enabling recipients to attain industry-leading commercial real estate education.
Paul White is a graduate of Georgia Tech with over 40 years experience in the real estate industry, and holds four major real estate designations: Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), Certified Property Manager (CPM), Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM), and Real Property Administrator (RPA). He is currently the Managing Director of KW Commercial in Miami-Dade County, leading its commercial real estate brokerage operations, and also President of Paul L. White & Associates, a commercial real estate consulting company providing training and expert services to property owners, insurance companies and legal professionals. White has served two terms as President of the Miami- Dade/Monroe CCIM District, and was President of the Florida CCIM Chapter in 2010. He is adjunct instructor with the CCIM Institute, and also teaches courses for Miami-Dade College and the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
Robert “Bob” White has been active in Florida real estate sales since 1973 and a principal real estate broker since 1975. He earned the CCIM professional designation in 1982, and served as President of the Southwest Florida CCIM District in 1994 and 2002. He has been an active member of the National Association of Realtors and Fort Myers Association of Realtors, and volunteered his time a director for both the United Way of Lee County and Fort Myers South Rotary. He been a successful leader for several real estate companies, and is now Senior Vice President at Lee & Associates in the Naples-Fort Myers area.
The Paul L. White CCIM Scholarship and the Bob White CCIM Scholarship, as well as the Central Florida CCIM District Scholarship, were announced recently during CCIM Institute’s 2015 Spring Governance Meetings.
With this new scholarship, the Miami-Dade/Monroe CCIM District, the Southwest Florida CCIM District, and the Central Florida CCIM District will each award an annual recipient with $1,000 toward the tuition cost for one of the four core courses of CCIM Institute: CI-101 Financial Analysis, CI- 102 Market Analysis, CI-103 User Decision Analysis, or CI-104 Investment Analysis.
CCIM Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The mission of CCIM Foundation is to advance and foster commercial real estate education through scholarships, programs and initiatives.
