“Honored”, is the best way for Cynthia McLain to describe being awarded the 2016 Bob Ward Scholarship for her next Core Education course.
“I thank the Florida Chapter for this opportunity to grow and I am thrilled to be doing so via a scholarship that is named after Mr. Ward,” shared the Clay County resident and member of the North District.
Cynthia, who has over 20 years of experience in sales and customer service, will use the scholarship to take CI 104 this year. With a business degree from St. Johns River State College, she has worked in the manufacturing, educational, human resources and real estate industries.
Currently, Cynthia handles commercial sales and leasing throughout Florida, with emphasis on the North Florida region. She specializes in vacant land and industrial properties. She is currently working with a variety of clients with buying, selling and development opportunities. She is a partner in the Kahle Commercial Group, along with Sandra Kahle. She is an associate with Keller Williams First Coast Realty – KW Commercial division. She is also a member of CCIM Institute.
The chapter established The Bob Ward Florida Chapter Scholarship Program in 2004. The program is named in honor of the late Bob Ward, CCIM, of Orlando, who became a CCIM instructor in 1972 and was invaluable asset to the Institute though his many contributions to its education program. The Institute’s non-designation education program was created in 2007 and, honoring Bob’s dedication and overall hard work with the education department, was named The Robert L. Ward Center for Real Estate Studies. Bob was also a past president of CCIM Institute.
