The Miami Association of Realtors, the largest local Realtor association in the nation, has named John Dohm, CCIM, “Realtor of the Year.”
Dohm was honored at the Association’s annual awards ceremony and installation, held in February at the Seminole Hard Rock. This is the second time that the 42,000 member association has recognized John for this award.
“Serving alongside the professionals and other officers of the Miami Association as we move our profession and community into the twenty-first century and a global position has been the greatest honor of my life,” commented Dohm.
Dohm just completed a year as the Association’s 2015 Chairman of the Board which includes the Corporate Board of Directors and Boards of Governors for the Commercial, Residential, Broward, YPN and JTHS (Jupiter Tequesta Hobe Sound) divisions of the Association.
He will continue to serve on the Miami Association’s Corporate Board and to work with his friend Ted Konigsberg at Infinity Commercial Real Estate where he specializes in development, industrial and office products with an emphasis on transportation, airport and seaport-related projects.
Dohm’s dedication and passion to CCIM, SIOR, Realtor and South Florida also includes service in the following positions: District Director, CCIM Miami-Dade Chapter; National Chairman, SIOR Standards and Practice; State Chairman, Florida Realtors Commercial Alliance; National Director, National Association of Realtors; State Director, Florida Realtor; Past State President, SIOR Florida Chapter; Past National Vice President, SIOR USA South Region; Past District President, CCIM Broward Chapter; Miami-Dade Freight Transportation Advisory Committee.
