Panhandle CCIM Represents Buyer of Historic Tallahassee Building

Brian Messer, CCIM

An active member of the Panhandle District recently partnered to represent the buyer of an 11,501 SF two-story office building located just one block from Tallahassee’s state capitol building.

Broker/Owner Jason Naumann and Brian Messer, CCIM with The Naumann Group Real Estate, Inc. represented TAG Real Estate Holdings, the buyer of the building. Located at 204 S. Monroe Street, the building was purchased in May for $1.7 Million.

“This property fronts on College Avenue and South Monroe Street next to the Florida Association of Realtors building. The building was constructed in 1910. The buyers overcame many challenges to complete this transaction – including environmental contamination; transfer of a facade grant; juggling tenants; even a Florida Senator signing a corrective deed at the last minute,” Messer shared.

Messer is a commercial real estate broker in Tallahassee with over 15 years’ experience spanning the commercial real estate industry including commercial brokerage, land development, mini-storage development, property management, and sales including land acreage, warehouse, office complex, and commercial retail. As a 4th generation Tallahassee resident and graduate of Florida State University, Messer is very active in local city and county real estate happenings. Messer is a member of the chapter’s Panhandle District, as well as that district’s 2015 President.
