A 7.5 acre vacant industrial zoned property located at 6730 Hanging Moss Road in Orlando has sold for $1,285,000. The property is a half a mile east of Winter Park, in the Orlando Metro Area.
The buyer was J & S Industrial Holdings, who intends to operate a recycling business where concrete demolition rubble is ground into useable aggregates for reuse, and saved from the landfill. Seller was Jennings Investments II, LLC. The transaction, which closed earlier in 2016, was brokered by Dean Jennings, CCIM of First Capital Realty Investments of Winter Park, closed at a higher than average price for industrial land – $171,333 per acre or $3.93 per square foot.

A Winter Park native and 32-year veteran of the Orlando commercial real estate industry, Jennings been involved in several large projects in this same neighborhood over the last 10 years including the 80 unit Via Lago Condominiums on Hanging Moss Road; the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market on SR 436 at Baldwin Park St.; and the 10.6 acre former Orlando Recycled Materials site on Mercator Drive.
