Eshenbaugh Land Company announces the $6,750,000 land sale of Steeplechase, a 1,139-acre land parcel in Myakka City. The property was a developed 183 lot equestrian subdivision owned by Heartland 7, LLC a subsidiary of BBX Capital.
Jack Koehler, broker-associate with Eshenbaugh, represented the Seller in the all-cash transaction, which closed in late July, 2016. Koehler is a Candidate Member of the Florida CCIM West Coast District.
“Within 10 days of listing the property, we were under contract to a cash buyer who ultimately closed 45 days later. This is a strong indicator that there are cash buyers looking for land. When properties are priced right and strategically marketed, successful closings can happen quickly,” states Jack Koehler who handled the transaction.
This sale marks the second large Myakka City land sale for Eshenbaugh Land Company this year. In January, Eshenbaugh Land also represented the Valenti family in the sale of their 1,955-acre ranch that closed in a 75 day all cash transaction for $6,842,500.
Company President Bill Eshenbaugh said he was very pleased with this sale and noted that Koehler has been on a “hot streak” having closed 5 transactions so far this year.
