It’s not too often that land brokers get help with their listings from the evening news reporters, but that’s just what happened to one Central District CCIM when he accepted an assignment from one of Central Florida’s best known businessmen and philanthropists.
Rick Gonzalez, a Crosby & Associates CCIM who specializes in land and commercial properties in Lake County says he didn’t expect as much media coverage as he is getting, but is happy to take it. The past president with Florida Chapter’s Central District says is all started with a phone call.
“Harvey Massey and I were acquainted via my role on the Central Florida Veteran’s Memorial Park Foundation’s board of directors. Harvey is a huge supporter of the Central Florida Veteran’s Memorial Park at Lake Nona,” Gonzalez shared.
“One day he called and mentioned that he spent a lot of time at his Montana ranch and, even though he loves the property, was considering selling his Florida ranch and invited me to visit. At my first glimpse of the Journey Circle M Ranch, I knew it was something special that deserved much more than a typical land marketing campaign,” he added.
“Ben Crosby has worked for decades on the disposition of a variety of large parcels with Murray Wise and Associates. I knew the combination of Crosby and Associates, Inc. and Murray Wise Associates was what would bring maximum exposure to the Journey Circle M Ranch. We worked with Mr. Massey and his incredible staff to iron out the details and are now bringing the property to market. One of the most interesting parts of what I do is the people I meet. I am blessed to have to opportunity to work with Mr. Massey,” Gonzalez explained.
