About the speaker:
Victoria B. Moreland joined the Lee County Port Authority in 2007 and is currently responsible for the promotion and marketing of Southwest Florida International Airport and Page Field through public information and marketing campaigns, as well as special events, community and media relations, corporate citizenship and employee communications. The department also oversees air service development, marketing for Skyplex, the airport Art in Flight program and maintains the airport’s website and social media efforts.
Moreland has more than 45 years of experience in the aviation industry. Prior to joining the Port Authority, she held executive management positions in marketing, public relations, airport administration, government affairs and strategic planning for several U.S. airlines.
Moreland is a member of the Southwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association. She has been recognized with numerous awards including the 2014 Public Relations Professional of the Year and 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award for her work and contribution to the Southwest Florida Chapter of FPRA. In addition, she is a member of the American Association of Airport Executives and Airports Council International – North America, where she serves on the media relations committee. Moreland serves on the advisory board for the marketing department at Florida Gulf Coast University, is a member of the Real Estate Investment Society and serves on the board of United Way of Lee, Hendry and Glades.
