CCIM FL Chapter Members,

The CCIM Spring Forum in Miami was not only a great time but full of valuable information for our Chapter. It was a powerful opportunity for industry leaders to connect, learn and explore emerging trends shaping commercial real estate.

Here are the key highlights:

In addition to all the networking & deal making, almost $90,000 was raised for the CCIM Foundation for the great work they do.

Erik Johnson, CCIM, 2025 VP of Marketing, found the event “reaffirming”, reinforcing the desire to collaborate closely with CCIM role models. 2025 VP of Finance, Lee Nimkoff, CCIM, proudly brought home a Chapter award for “Best Event”, reflecting the strength of community and engagement within CCIM.

Sage Andress, CCIM – 2025 VP of Operations, identified cutting-edge vendors poised to revolutionize the industry with AI-driven solutions. Drake Dickerson, CCIM – VP of Operations, echoed this sentiment, noting that Site To Do Business and educational sessions showcased how AI, including ChatGPT, is transforming real estate analysis.

Theresa Blauch Mitchell, CCIM – our 2025 VP of Education, provided updates on curriculum advancements: Excel workbooks will be refreshed by July and available in the fall. A Spanish-language curriculum is nearing completion, and the certificate program remains a work in progress. The Institute is pushing to see junior and senior-level professionals take on instructional roles.

2025 VP of Admin, Bill Poteet, CCIM, noted that while the Government Issues meeting lacked substantial content, it remains a crucial avenue for policy discussions affecting commercial real estate.

The “Networking Lounge” was a standout feature, making it easy to connect and build relationships—a vital component of the CCIM experience. THANK YOU TO FLORIDA REALTORS FOR SPONSORING IT!!!

There were several announcements for next year, including combining the Spring Forum with C5+CCIM in Las Vegas (At Caesars Palace). The Site To Do Business platform will be offering multiple online educational sessions several times next year and the CCIM Foundation has launched a rebranded website.

As AI and emerging technologies continue to evolve, CCIM members are well-positioned to stay ahead. The Spring Forum provided valuable insights and opportunities, underscoring the importance of attendance for professionals looking to deepen their expertise and expand their networks.

For more updates and opportunities, stay tuned for upcoming CCIM events!
