The Florida CCIM Chapter – West Coast District recently hosted an exclusive event at the Westshore Yacht Club in Tampa to honor real estate professionals with the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from across Tampa Bay and beyond. This event was organized by the Florida CCIM Chapter – West Coast District and sponsored by CoStar. Many accomplished Real Estate Professionals with the CCIM Designation attended this event, including several Past Presidents of the Florida CCIM Chapter and West Coast District, as well as the current West Coast District President and Board of Directors.
During this event, the prestigious CCIM “Power of the Pin” Legacy Award was presented. This award is bestowed upon a distinguished CCIM Designee whose career exemplifies the highest standards of professional excellence, visionary leadership, ethical conduct, and industry influence. The recipient has demonstrated a lasting impact on the commercial real estate profession over decades and has served as a mentor and guide within the CCIM community.
We are pleased to announce that the inaugural 2025 CCIM “Power of the Pin” Legacy Award was awarded to Bill Eshenbaugh, CCIM, ALC of Eshenbaugh Land Company. This award recognizes Bill’s outstanding contributions to the commercial real estate industry, his commitment to mentorship, his embodiment of the values that define the CCIM designation, and his continued support of the Florida CCIM Chapter – West Coast District. Rick Harris, CCIM, GAA, the current West Coast District President, commented, “We were pleased to honor Bill Eshenbaugh with this award. Bill is a deserving professional who represents the essence of our real estate profession and the CCIM designation.”
Renowned in the industry as the “Land Man”, also known as “The Dirt Dog”, Bill Eshenbaugh is the founder of Eshenbaugh Land Company, based in Tampa, Florida. With over 40 years of experience in land brokerage, development, and consulting, Bill has been involved in numerous real estate transactions worth hundreds of millions of dollars and has earned both a local and national reputation as a trusted expert in land and commercial real estate transactions.
Bill was a guest speaker at this event and was not aware he would be receiving this award. Bill shared his experiences, lessons, and the value of having his CCIM designation that accelerated his success in the real estate industry. When asked about the significance of this award, Bill stated,
“I was very surprised and humbled to be selected as the first recipient of the “CCIM Power of the Pin Legacy Award”.
