DISTRICT PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Welcome to 2026! I’m honored to serve as your Florida CCIM Central District President and excited about what lies ahead. Our district enters this year with strong momentum, an engaged membership, and a calendar that reflects exactly who we are.

Our previous leadership set a very high bar, and in 2026, we’re determined not to be outdone. The result is an ambitious year built around education, engagement, and connection across our eight-county region.

Education remains at the core of our mission. This year, we’re delivering an unprecedented slate of Ward courses, something rarely accomplished at the district level. These offerings are designed to grow talent, sharpen expertise, and reinforce the value of the CCIM designation at every stage of a member’s career. We’re also exploring innovative programming, including a potential AI-focused course, keeping our members ahead of the curve.

Sponsorship and strategic partnerships are another major focus for 2026. We’re launching a more ambitious sponsorship program with expanded offerings and increased visibility, while continuing to create meaningful opportunities for our sponsors to promote their services and engage directly with members at our growing lineup of district events. Strong partnerships build momentum for everyone involved.

Outreach to emerging professionals is critical to sustaining leadership in our industry. In 2026, we’ll continue expanding candidate development initiatives and strengthening relationships with our University Alliance partners. By engaging professionals early in their careers, we’re ensuring that CCIM remains the standard for tomorrow’s commercial real estate industry leaders.

Connection and community are where our district truly stands apart. If you haven’t been to one of our events, you’re missing out. In 2026, members can expect a full calendar of networking and social events, including the return of our Annual Golf Tournament and additional county update events. These gatherings are where relationships are built, conversations turn into opportunities, and deals blossom.

As we move forward, I encourage each of you to get involved through our numerous education programs, events, committees, and leadership opportunities. This district’s strength comes from active, engaged members who show up, contribute, and lead. We are Central Florida’s leading commercial real estate organization, and we continue to set the standard.

On behalf of the 2026 Board of Directors, thank you for your continued support of the Florida CCIM Central District and the CCIM Institute. I look forward to another year of growth, collaboration, and success.

Warm regards,
James Flint, CCIM
2026 President
