West Coast District’s Israel Arranges Loan in Less Than Three Weeks

CBRE’s Yakhin B. Israel, CCIM, recently arranged a $4.1M bridge loan to finance the acquisition of a 46,259 SF mixed-use retail plaza in Naples.

To accommodate the time constrains of the borrower, the lender closed in 18 days.
Yakhin B. Israel joined CBRE Capital Markets – Debt & Structured Finance Group in October 2017 as Senior Vice President for the Tampa, Florida office, responsible for the origination and placement of debt and equity capital for clients in the Southeast region. He is an experienced commercial finance professional with expertise in the origination and servicing of commercial real estate loans, the successful resolution of distressed situations and the disposition of both performing and distressed loans.

Prior to joining CBRE, Yakhin founded Twin Pillar Capital, a commercial real estate capital advisory firm that focused on the Southeastern United States. He also enjoyed a 15-year career with Fifth Third Bank, where he had various innovative roles in commercial real estate finance, loan sales and special asset resolution. In his last role at Fifth Third, he was responsible for building and maintaining relationships in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida and originating construction and mini-perm loans secured by income-producing commercial real estate.

Israel has been an active member of the CCIM Florida Chapter and its West Coast District, serving this year as VP of Finance for the chapter. Additionally, he has been active in the CCIM Institute serving through:
