Bev Larson, CCIM, a Florida CCIM Chapter Southwest District Past President and Education Chair received an Exceptional Leadership award during the Southwest District’s 19th Annual Commercial Real Estate Outlook Conference earlier this year.
The award for outstanding and exceptional commitment to the Florida CCIM Chapter and Southwest Florida District was presented by current President of the Southwest District, Ron Struthers, CCIM
who stated that “Bev’s dedication and commitment has been instrumental in helping the Chapter and our District meet our goals.”
Larson has been involved in various leadership roles within the Florida CCIM Chapter and it’s Southwest District.
“I am honored to be recognized by an organization that means so much to me and that plays such an important role in the commercial real estate industry,” she shared.
Larson has been a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designee for many years. She has twice been elected as the Southwest District President and during her tenure, the district has won two prestigious District of the Year awards. As Education Chair, she has been instrumental in coordinating and marketing educational classes, seminars and workshops for anyone interested in pursuing the CCIM designation. Additionally, she works diligently to expand opportunities for FGCU students.
Increasing commercial education and networking opportunities for members and non-members alike has been one of Larson’s focuses over the years and her efforts have resulted in successful partnerships with local organizations including Horizon Council, Lee County Economic Development, Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW | Naples-Ft. Myers), Real Estate Investment Society (REIS), Lutgert College of Business at FGCU, Building Industry Association (BIA), Realtors Land Institute (RLI Florida Chapter), Naples Area Board of Realtors, Royal Palm Coast Realtor Association and the Southwest Florida Commercial Alliance.
