FLCCIM Chapter President’s Message

Members and Friends –

I want to start this month’s message with a note of gratitude to all our dedicated volunteers and sponsors that make FLCCIM such an exceptional organization. Our District and Chapter leadership have already done an excellent job providing timely programs and networking opportunities and we’re just getting started!

The Chapter has just completed a very successful trio of Site to Do Business Sessions with over 125 members in attendance. Our thanks to Carol Campbell, Vice President of CCIM Technologies for sharing her expertise.

Our next scheduled program is FLCCIM’s 2024 Florida Legislative Session Review on April 9th with Florida Senator Ana Maria Rodriguez. The Senator will provide an update on the Business Rent Tax, Insurance and the revisions to the “Live Local Act”. FLCCIM’s 2024 Florida Legislative Session Review

For those attending the CCIM Midyear Governance Meetings in Nashville, please join us for dinner at Sambuca Restaurant to celebrate our thirteen new designees FLCCIM Pinning Dinner (Nashville, TN) | Florida CCIM Chapter. Nashville is a great place to visit and the networking opportunities with other commercial professionals are beyond valuable.

Save the date for the FLCCIM Meetings which are being held during the Florida Realtor’s Annual Conference in Orlando, (August 20 – 25). We are finalizing plans for an outstanding educational session, participation in the two-day expo and a special membership dinner following our General Membership Meeting. The C5 & CCIM Global Summit is being held September 17-19, 2024, in Hollywood, Florida. Three (3) days of Commercial Real Estate networking, learning and investing. This is a national meeting in our own backyard, so I encourage you to attend.
