DISTRICT PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Dear CCIM Members, Sponsors and Industry Partners,
I am honored and grateful to serve as your 2026 Florida East Coast District President. This role is both a privilege and a responsibility—one I embrace with energy, purpose, and a deep commitment to strengthening our District, our members, and the CCIM brand.
Over the past year, I had the opportunity to participate in the Jay W. Levine (JWL) Leadership Development Academy, a transformative National CCIM program that reinforced a simple but powerful truth: strong organizations don’t grow by chance, they grow by design. In 2026, our District will lead with intention, accountability, and collaboration. We will focus on several key initiatives:
Grow Our Community:
Membership growth is not just about numbers—it’s about relevance, engagement, and value. Our goal is to expand membership while deepening involvement by:
• Creating events that are business-driven, welcoming, and time worthy
• Strengthening mentorship between seasoned CCIMs and rising professionals
• Actively engaging brokers, lenders, developers, attorneys, and allied professionals who belong in the CCIM ecosystem
Every member should feel connected, supported, and confident that CCIM enhances their business.
Strengthen Sponsorship & Strategic Partnerships:
Sponsors are not just supporters—they are partners in our success. In 2026, we will:
• Elevate the value proposition for sponsors through better visibility, intentional engagement, and ROI-focused opportunities.
• Collaborate with aligned organizations such as NAIOP, CREW, IREM, RCA, and other regional industry groups to expand reach and impact
• Create joint programs and events that foster deal-making, education, and cross-pollination of ideas
Our District will be known as a place where sponsors, members, and partners do business together.
Deliver Meaningful Education & Connections:
Education and relationships remain the foundation of CCIM. We will continue to deliver:
• Practical, market-relevant education that reflects today’s challenges and opportunities
• Events that balance learning, networking, and real deal flow
Experiences that reinforce why CCIMs are recognized as The Commercial Real Estate Experts
Every event, program, and initiative will be evaluated through one simple question:
Does this add real value to our members and partners?
A Call to Engage:
The strength of our District does not come from a Board alone—it comes from engaged members. Whether you are a long-time CCIM, a candidate pursuing the designation, a sponsor, or a first-time attendee, your involvement matters.
I encourage you to attend events, bring a colleague, raise your hand to lead, share ideas, and help us build something exceptional together.
I want to thank our past presidents, board members, committee chairs, and volunteers who laid a strong foundation for what comes next. I am equally excited to work alongside our 2026 Board as we execute this vision with discipline, collaboration, and enthusiasm. Together, we will grow our District, strengthen our brand, and create opportunities that matter—for our businesses, our communities, and our profession.
Thank you for your trust, your support, and your commitment to CCIM.
Here’s to a strong, strategic, and successful 2026.
Warm regards,
Blair C. Lee, MAI, CCIM
