This prestigious award recognizes women in the real estate community who significantly impact and grow the profession and their area. Shelton spearheads the LandQwest Investment Services (LQIS) Division and has been a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Instructor since 1997. Shelton was honored to be chosen and said, “There are a lot of women doing great things in commercial real estate, and it is truly humbling to be recognized among them.”

Shelton’s service to the CCIM Institute and Florida Chapter is significant.  In addition to her service as CCIM Institute Instructor, she served as the President of CCIM Institute in 2002 and in 2009 served as President of the Florida Realtors ® Association.  She received the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) 2012 Distinguished Service Award, which is presented annually to no more than two of NAR’s members and honors Realtors® with outstanding contributions to the real estate industry and who serve as leaders to the real estate industry and their local communities.
