Linda Daniels, CCIM worked with buyer and seller to bring deal together
Linda Daniels and Associates, a full-service commercial real estate brokerage firm, today announced the successful facilitation of a $15 million transaction for 65.3 acres of waterfront industrial property at 8730 Somers Road. An affiliate of InLight Real Estate Partners, based in Ponte Vedra Beach, purchased the property from Container Land Associates, L.P.; the transaction closed on December 28, 2021.
Demand for industrial properties remains high in Jacksonville, due in part to the rapid growth of warehouses to support e-commerce and changes to consumer behaviors throughout the ongoing pandemic. Container Land Associates, L.P. originally planned to lease the property; however, market conditions led to a mutually beneficial sale opportunity.

InLight plans to utilize the space for heavy outdoor storage to support the growing needs of the Port and industrial logistics community in Jacksonville. This can include shipping container storage, tractor trailer parking and chassis storage.
Two tenants are currently leasing space on the property and will remain in place. Guy Preston and Seda Preston with Colliers in Jacksonville will oversee leasing at the property on behalf of InLight.
